More than 150,000 people are under evacuation orders in Los Angeles County due to deadly wildfires burning out of control.

NAVAJO COUNTY, Ariz. — Millions of dollars worth of cocaine was seized from a truck driver in Arizona during a traffic stop, according to officials. Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers made the massive drug bust during a traffic stop in Navajo County, the law enforcement agency said.

The Horton Fire near Payson and several fires in the L.A. area have burned thousands of acres with little containment, stressing resources within the states. California has sent requests to Arizona for resources.

Multiple groups of Arizona firefighters will be sent to fight the wildfires ravaging the Los Angeles area, officials confirmed Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley said residents eager to return to evacuated areas must remain patient.

PHOENIX — One person has died following a traffic collision Monday morning near the Loop 202 freeway in south Phoenix.
