Wisconsin-based underwater search expert Kevin Cormican on March 10 located the body of a missing Westminster School teacher and coach, putting to end a months-long search in the waters of Lake Oconee.

On Saturday, Cormican made the trek to Lake Oconee amid the search for missing boater Gary Jones. A day later, he found Jones’ body. It was a month after the discovery of Jones' empty boat on the lake, so he knew it would be challenging.

Georgia's Senate has passed a bill that would give legislators a veto over significant regulations imposed by the executive branch.

Keith Cormican, founder of Bruce's Legacy, a nonprofit dedicated to underwater recovery missions, will be on the water Saturday with specialized equipment.
