Amazon Prime Video‘s newest dream team, Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon, have teased audiences with what to expect from their upcoming comedy You're Cordially Invited. Launching on the streamer worldwide Jan.

Even Will Ferrell understands the power of great bangs. In the upcoming Prime Video comedy You’re Cordially Invited (out Jan. 30), the actor plays a widowed father named Jim who discovers that the wedding venue he booked for his beloved daughter Jenni (Geraldine Viswanathan) accidentally double-booked another wedding party on the same weekend.

Though much of PBS’ programming is already available to stream through through its own apps, now you can access it through Amazon Prime Video. Amazon has launched a selection of new, ad-free FAST channels consisting of programming from over 150 local PBS affiliate stations and the PBS KIDS Channel.

Not only was she selected, but the A-lister also had to serve on what she described as a “long trial.” While comedian Will Ferrell, who was also a guest on the show to promote their upcoming comedy You're Cordially Invited, jokingly dismissed two weeks as “not that long,” Witherspoon emphasized the commitment, saying:

The actor has announced a thriller book co-written by one of the most legendary writers of the genre: Harlen Coben. If you haven’t read any of his more than 30 novels, chances are you’ve seen one of the many Netflix adaptions ( Missing You landed on the streaming platform at the start of the year).
