AUSTIN, Texas - A suspect is now in custody following an hours-long SWAT standoff in Southeast Austin. Austin police said around 3 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 20, officers with the fugitive apprehension task force attempted to serve a warrant on a suspect with multiple felony warrants at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Cromwell Circle.

APD resolved a standoff with a barricaded suspect wanted on felony warrants using a robot to deploy a chemical deterrent.
