The NWS Fort Worth TX issued an updated severe thunderstorm watch at 6:54 a.m. on Wednesday in effect until 7 a.m. The watch is for Collin, Denton, Cooke and Grayson counties.

The agency also issued a tornado watch until 4 a.m. Saturday for parts of central North Texas. This includes the following counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Knox, Wichita and Wilbarger. The NWS says possible threats include “a couple tornadoes,” as well as scattered large hail and damaging winds.
