A late Martin Odegaard penalty, won brilliantly by 15-year-old wonderkid Max Dowman, helped Arsenal beat Newcastle 3-2 in a pre-season game in Singapore.

Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of South Korean winger Seung-soo Park from K League 2 side Suwon Bluewings. Park made 28 senior appearances for Suwon, contributing one goal and three assists.

The Reds have already snapped-up Hugo Ekitike, for whom Newcastle made Eintracht Frankfurt an unsuccessful £70million offer before ending their pursuit of the Frenchman. However, they reportedly are interested in several other strikers as they continue trying to strengthen their squad after qualifying for the Champions League.

Newcastle United new signing Seung-soo Park has linked up with Eddie Howe’s first-team squad for their pre-season tour of Asia. Newcastle confirmed the arrival of Park from K-League 2 side Suwon Bluewings whilst he was sitting on the first-team flight to Singapore on Thursday.

In a recent post on X, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Liverpool remain keen on signing Newcastle United centre-forward Alexander Isak. It has been revealed that the Reds are still showing interest in the Swedish striker and could move in for him if they sell Luis Diaz this summer.

Anthony Elanga, who scored at the Singapore National Stadium on his full debut, is Newcastle's only summer signing so far.

However, despite Bertolucci representing Zirkzee, the Corriere della Sera report that Inter did not show any interest in the Netherlands international in talks yesteday. Rather, the newspaper anticipate, the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss Inter’s interest in some young prospects from Brazilian football.
