Comedian Tim Dillon only has a brief role in “Joker: Folie à Deux,” but he has strong opinions about the movie. The 39-year-old called the DC sequel starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga “the worst film ever made” on Joe Rogan’s podcast last week.

Comedian Tim Dillon, who has a small part in the Todd Phillips-directed sequel says discussions about the first film being "loved by the wrong kinds of people" led filmmakers to go "the other way" with "Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga tap dancing to a point where it’s insane.

The follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Lady Gaga as Lee Quinzel ( Harley Quinn ), was branded “stupid” by critics upon its October 4 release and flopped at the box office.

He described the atmosphere as one where he and other actors joke about how Joker 2 would “bomb.” Dillon went on to say the movie “isn’t even hate-watchable.”

Apparently Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga (allegedly) aren't the only people who acted in Joker: Folie à Deux that thought it was a terrible movie.

This has been a pretty solid year for comic book stories. Deadpool and Wolverine was a box office smash, and audiences flocked to The Penguin on Max, and Agatha All Along on Disney+ earlier this year. DC launches its new cinematic universe in December with Creature Commandos, but I don’t think we’re going to get Joker 3 anytime soon. Or ever.
