Gov. Jeff Landry talks about Super Bowl, Mardi Gras security
Thousands of visitors are expected to fly into the New Orleans airport for the Mardi Gras season and the Feb. 9 Super Bowl at Caesars Superdome. Police announced preliminary plans to increase security in the French Quarter. People will see barriers and wedges in the area. The governor will hold a news conference at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
