A prominent Fortnite leaker claims that another version of Godzilla could be coming to Epic Games' popular battle royale in the near future.

Fortnite’s Godzilla skin is coming soon, but there’s a major change in how players can allegedly unlock the legendary Kaiju.

Fortnite players recently faced off against Galactus and Doctor Doom. Now, the ultimate challenge seems to have arrived. Godzilla, the iconic King of Monsters, will be wreaking havoc across the island as part of the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 update that drops this week.

The Godzilla skin is included with the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass starting Jan. 17, though it will require a little bit of grinding to unlock. But, unlike in past seasons, you won't need to do any specific quests. Instead, Godzilla will be unlocked by earning XP in any experience--no need to play battle royale at all if you don't want to.
