Gaza's Health Ministry says an Israeli strike killed five Palestinian journalists outside a hospital overnight.

An Israeli attack in northern Gaza Strip killed at least nine Palestinians and injured several others, according to Palestinian media. The report by the WAFA news agency said an airstrike hit homes in Gaza City on Thursday evening.

The Israeli military named the five killed as Ibrahim Jamal Ibrahim Al-Sheikh Ali; Faisal Abdallah Muhammad Abu Qamsan; Mohammed Ayad Khamis al-Ladaa; Ayman Nihad Abd Alrahman Jadi; and Fadi Ihab Muhammad Ramadan Hassouna.
