Henrico County issued a boil water advisory Wednesday afternoon, on the third day of a regional water emergency triggered by a power outage at Richmond’s water treatment plant on Monday, Jan. 6 caused by a winter storm.

A water treatment plant power outage and subsequent malfunctions in Richmond on Monday have left multiple jurisdictions under boil water advisories.

The California wildfires have forced evacuation orders and warnings to expand in Santa Monica, and have forced officials in parts of Malibu to issue a Boil Water Advisory. The Palisades Fire has burned more than 15,
