Adobe has officially rolled out the full-fledged Photoshop app for Android phones, ending a long wait for creatives on the platform. After launching exclusively on iOS earlier this year, the app is now available for download on Google Play,

On Tuesday, Adobe announced that the Photoshop app will be available on the Google Play Store for the most popular Android smartphones. The Android app (beta) is free, and the only requirement is a device running Android 11 or later, with a minimum of 6GB of RAM, 8GB for optimal performance.

A few months after releasing a version for iPhones, Adobe has launched Photoshop Mobile for Android, bringing its suite of photo editing tools to a much wider market. While this new app is in beta form as the company works out the kinks, it's also offering a number of premium tools and features for free.
