Oklahoma State men’s basketball fans were hovering their hands over the panic button when the Cowboys dropped their first two Big 12 games – and for good reason.

Abou Ousmane hit his first six shots and scored a game-high 27 points to lead Oklahoma State to a 79-66 win against Kansas State in Stillwater, Okla., on Tuesday.

Ousmane finished 11-for-15 shooting and Bryce Thompson added 10 points for the Cowboys (9-5, 1-2 Big 12), which ended their two-game losing streak. Oklahoma State shot 47.5% (28 for 59) including 43% (9 for 21) from 3-point range.
