Northeastern women's hockey won its third straight Beanpot on Tuesday, beating Boston University, 4-0, at TD Garden.

The 46th women's Beanpot begins January 14 and runs through Jan. 21. The 2025 tournament marks the second year that the women's championship game will be played at TD Garden.

BOSTON – The Northeastern Huskies turned a three-peat with a 4-0 victory over Boston University in the 46th Women’s Beanpot title game on Tuesday night at TD Garden.

In No. 12 Boston College women's hockey's consolation game against Harvard, the Eagles netted three first-period goals, ultimately defeating the Crimson 4–1.

For the third-straight year, the No. 15/14 Northeastern women's hockey is crowned Beanpot champions, as they defeated the Boston University Terriers by a score of 4-0 at TD Garden on

Even as a first-grader, Shaunessy knew what a big deal it was to play at TD Garden. She was raised on tales of Beanpot glory that came from Garden ice. The tournament was something she revered growing up — and still does — because of the stories told by her father, Scott, who played four years at Boston University and won two Beanpots in the 1980s.
