CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Kent State survived a late flurry by the Ohio Bobcats and will move on to face Akron in the MAC Semi-Finals on Friday after a 86-75 win. The Golden Flashes lead 40-38 at the half before finally opening the game up in the second half.
Kent State dominates Ohio down the stretch and beats the Bobcats 72-57. Double-doubles from Morgan Safford (18 points, 10 rebounds), Delrecco Gillespie (15 points, 12 rebounds) and Magnus Entenmann (12 points, 10 rebounds) lead the Flashes. Cian Medley had 13 points and eight assists.
