A hearing at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court heard Arshad, of Kingsway in Rochdale, had come into possession of a Toyota Aqua which had been reported missing on November 24, 2024.
Hasaan Arshad took his work mobile phone into a top secret area of GCHQ and connected the device to a top secret work station, it was alleged.
Arshad, from Rochdale in Greater Manchester, is said to have transferred sensitive data from a secure computer to his phone, which he had taken into a top secret area of GCHQ on 24 August 2022.
