Max Verstappen’s future at Red Bull could be hanging in the balance as the team prepares for a seismic shift in 2026. Under the upcoming Formula 1 engine regulations, Red Bull will break away from its Honda-based partnership and launch its own power unit, developed alongside Ford.

Max Verstappen finished fourth in the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday. The Red Bull driver was unable to build on his pole position and ended up finishing behind the race winner Oscar Piastri and second place Lando Norris of McLaren and the Mercedes of George Russell.
