Cape Cod official proposes bridge tolls for non-residents

A Cape Cod town official is advocating for tolls for visitors on and off the island. Mashpee Select Board Vice Chairman David Weeden proposed the $2 toll for non-residents. Weeden said the tolls on the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges would generate approximately $70 million annually.
