These are two characters who are keeping each other's confidence from Hannibal. We finally met Michael Pitt's Mason Verger in this episode. How did you approach creating that character?

I have read Thomas Harris’ Hannibal and seen Ridley Scott’s film, so I knew the ultimate fate of Mason Verger going in. That didn’t make me any less surprised to watch it happen.
