Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized 82.53 kg of first-grade cocaine worth around ₹900 crore from Janakpuri and Nangloi in Delhi in a big haul on Thursday.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has confiscated more than 80 kg of cocaine worth around Rs 900 crore in the national capital, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Friday and asserted that the government's hunt against drug rackets will continue "ruthlessly".

Delhi Drug Bust: The crackdown on drugs by central agencies continued in the national capital on Friday. In the latest action in the series of drug seizures, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) confiscated more than 80 kg of cocaine worth around Rs 900 crore from parts of Delhi.

The NCB recovered over 82 kg of cocaine from west Delhi and arrested two people in connection with the bust. The consignment was valued at around Rs 900 crore.

According to media reports, the Indian authorities deployed a “bottom-to-top approach" to track the large consignment following a small quantity of drugs was seized in Delhi earlier

The cocaine was seized from Janakpuri and Nangloi areas of the national capital on Thursday and was estimated at Rs 900 crore.
