ALMA - Rains this week in southwest Nebraska are expected to raise Harlan County Lake levels by another 1.3 to 1.4 feet, federal officials said Friday.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has opened the gates at the Harlan County Reservoir and plans to release Republican River water at a rate of up to 1,000 cubic feet per second until Thursday.
