The Edmonton Oilers put in a very good first 40 minutes in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final, but the PK let them down.
On Sunday afternoon at Rogers Place, the Oilers got more than what they normally need from Skinner. He stole some big moments in the middle of the game, when the Oilers were being outplayed by the Stars. He was named the game’s first star for his 33-save effort. He was spectacular by any measure in his team’s 6-1 win.

The Edmonton Oilers gave up three power-play goals before the six-minute mark of the third period versus the Dallas Stars on Wednesday en route to a 6-3 Game 1 loss, and Leon Draisaitl wasn't impressed with his team's effort.
