DENTON – A 23-year-old man has been indicted on six felony charges following a coordinated effort by multiple law enforcement agencies to rescue a 15-year-old girl held captive in Denton.

A Denton man has been charged with multiple sex crimes after police said he met a 15-year-old girl online and held her against her will.

Investigators later learned that Hagen and the victim met on Chatib, an online chat room, and also talked through the messaging app Session, police said.

The 23-year-old man also faces sex trafficking charges in Utah, where he was involved in a police sting operation.

A Denton man was indicted on child sex and human trafficking charges after police said he brought a 15-year-old girl he met online to his apartment and refused to let her leave.
