MSNBC and CNN trudge to pre-election numbers as Fox News keeps growing in the ratings after 100 days of Trump.

Maddow was MSNBC’s top show with 2.1 million average viewers, while Erin Burnett led CNN with 634,000 total average viewers.

Fox News was up in total viewers and the key demo in the first quarter of 2025 and during the month of March, while its cable news rivals all showed declines from the same period a year ago.

Fox News anchor Trace Gallagher attacked CNN and MSNBC for not airing a speech by slain Maryland woman Rachel Morin’s mother, after President Donald Trump’s White House made similar attacks.
