Presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, the Tony Awards will be hosted by American Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award recipient Cynthia Erivo, who went viral this year after her role in Wicked with Ariana Grande.

Established by the American Theatre Wing in 1947, The Tony Awards celebrate achievements on Broadway. The annual event, now returning to the famed Radio City Music Hall in New York, has been airing on CBS since 1978.
