The UEFA Champions League's knockout phase will kick off on Tuesday, February 11-12 with the return legs to be played the week after, on February 18-19 and will determine the eight teams that will face the first eight sides that already qualified in the League Phase.

The UEFA Champions League is the most celebrated club tournament in the world, and has been won most-often by Real Madrid, who extended their own record tally by beating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in 2024. For the 2024-25 season we also see a new format (explained below) as the league phase will bring a totally different look to the tournament.

The Champions League knockout play-off begins on Tuesday night, with 16 teams battling to join the already qualified eight sides in the next round. The revamped format has seen the top eight in the group stage head straight into the last 16 of the competition.
