Organised by the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, the festival was inaugurated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

Young poets took the spotlight in "Shaairi ke Rung, Jawanon ke Sung," led by Ambareen Hasib Ambar and Abdul Rehman Momin, featuring Ali Zaryoun, Umair Najmi, Dilawar Ali Aazar, and others.

Prominent poets Tahzeeb Hafi, Ali Zaryoun, Mah-e-Nau, Akhtar Munir, and Ikram Arfi, alongwith students from various educational institutions, captivated the audience with their poetic expressions.
