Gov. Glenn Youngkin has declared a state of emergency as the Commonwealth braces for a winter storm. Virginia is expected to see snow, freezing rain, ice and excessive rainfall that could lead to flooding, power outages and hazardous travel conditions. In our region, snowfall totals appear to be between 3 to 6 inches for the majority of the region.
