Scottish actor Rory McCann, best known for playing the burly brute The Hound on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will replace late actor Ray Stevenson for a second season of Star Wars show Ahsoka, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Ahsoka season 2 will replace the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll with a Game of Thrones veteran who reads as a fitting choice (given the circumstances).

He is a familiar face to fans of the TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s work, as McCann played Sandor Clegane ‘The Hound’ in all eight seasons of ‘Game of Thrones’. He will step into the shoes of a Force user who must explore the mysteries and mythology of Peridea,
