Scott Douglas, 37, worked at Cava restaurant at 125 Summer St. and allegedly conspired with his 19-year-old stepson, Nikolas Lao, to stage and report an armed robbery at closing time on Dec. 29, authorities said. “The pair intentionally misled responding officers and fabricated the details of the incident,” police said in a statement.
