The Princess of Wales has travelled to Wales for the first time this year as she was announced the Patron of Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice

Princess Kate visited Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice in Wales, as it was announced she will become their new patron.

Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, visited South Wales on Jan. 30, making two stops while there, including to a factory to discuss textiles and fashion.

Catherine, Princess of Wales continued her phased return to public duties on Thursday, visiting a children’s hospice in Wales, as it was announced that she’d become a patron of the organization.

Kate celebrated becoming patron of Ty Hafan children’s hospice in South Wales by visiting the centre where she did not unveil a plaque but contributed to a wall of handprints from youngsters and their families supported by staff.

The Princess of Wales is named patron of Tŷ Hafan as she makes her first visit to the hospice.

Kate Middleton made a solo journey to Wales on Thursday to spend time with children in the hospice center at Tŷ Hafan. The hospice center supports families in Wales and ensures that children with life-shortening conditions live fulfilling lives.
