The Detroit Lions defense stepped up on "Sunday Night Football" to keep the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles under wraps, even with key starters like Terrion Arnold and Kerby Joseph sidelined due to injury.

In a 16-9 win that improved the Eagles to 8-2, Philadelphia allowed points on just two of Detroit’s 12 drives. That included stopping the Lions — who had scored on all but one drive last week, while producing 44 points — on downs five times. They fell to 6-4.
