According to New York City Emergency Management, Central Park recorded 2.07 inches of rain between 6:51 p.m. and 7:51 p.m. This substantial rainfall marks the second-highest one-hour rainfall total ever recorded in Central Park.
Severe storms hammered parts of the tri-state area Monday afternoon into the late evening hours, flooding City subways, prompting dozens of water rescues and triggering a state of emergency in hard-hit parts of New Jersey.
: Barring any setbacks, warmups will begin at 7:25 pm ET with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 pm ET. Wednesday's game between Orlando City and New York City FC will have a delayed start due to inclement weather near Inter&Co Stadium.
