The man who carried out an attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans early New Year’s morning visited the city twice in the months prior and used Meta smart glasses to film the street and plan out the attack,

Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, has been accused of driving into a crowd celebrating on Bourbon Street, killing 14 and injuring more than 30 people.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar wore the same Meta smart glasses when he carried out his New Year’s Day attack, but there’s no indication he was recording, authorities said.
