Tennessee fans welcomed Jonas Aidoo back to Knoxville by booing him when he came out of the tunnel at Food City Center for pregame warmups. And again when he was introduced in the Arkansas starting lineup.

Jonas Aidoo transferred from Tennessee basketball to Arkansas after three seasons with the Vols. He was an All-SEC player as a junior.

Kenny Payne knows Jonas Aidoo will have a little bit more in the tank Saturday afternoon. The Arkansas associate head coach said Thursday there’s “no question” that the former Tennessee center will be motivated to face his former team at his former home arena.

Jonas Aidoo is averaging 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for Arkansas. He transferred from Tennessee basketball after three seasons.
