Demonstrators have taken to the streets across multiple states on Thursday to protest President Donald Trump’s Administration in a day of action honoring the late civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, with more events planned across the country in the evening.

The protests will mark the third time this year that Houston-area residents participate in nationwide demonstrations against the Trump administration.

People are expected to protest in North Texas on Thursday and across the country. The demonstrators will be honoring the legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis, who fought for civil and human rights.
