The Georgia Department of Transportation is urging drivers in areas impacted by Tuesday’s winter storm to stay off the roads whenever possible.

With winter weather expected this week, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is already working to keep the roads cleared. Workers have started a pre-treatment process Sunday according to GDOT Strategic Communications Director Jill Nagel.
