The lawsuit determined that the organization's rules prohibiting players from profiting off their image and likeness used in the game violated antitrust law.

Alabama's Ryan Williams and Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith are the cover athletes for EA Sports College Football 26, the video-game developer announced Tuesday. The electric sophomore wide receivers were picked for the second edition of the franchise's reboot.

"EA Sports College Football 26" is set to release July 10. Fans can technically access the game three days earlier if they buy a bundle that includes College Football 26 and Madden 26. The Madden 26 cover athlete has yet to be announced by EA Sports.
