Twenty-five people were hospitalized Wednesday after a Delta Air Lines flight experienced extreme turbulence, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing in Minnesota. According to some of the plane’s passengers,

Serious turbulence on a Delta Airlines flight headed to Europe sent 25 people to hospitals and forced the plane into an emergency landing in Minneapolis, the airline said. Some aboard the flight from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam weren’t wearing seat belts and were thrown about the cabin, one passenger said.

Twenty-five people were taken to hospital after a Delta Airlines flight was hit with extreme turbulence. The Airbus A330-900, travelling from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam, was forced to divert, landing at Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport.
