A body has sadly been found in the search for missing County Durham runner Jenny Hall. The search to find the missing 23-year-old runner had entered a fifth day today (Sunday, February 23) as the police urged members of the public not to disrupt the search area.

Police hunting for a missing 23-year-old woman have found a body. Jenny Hall was last seen at about 3pm on Tuesday after she left her home in Barracks Farm, County Durham. Mountain rescue teams, sniffer dogs and specialist drones have been used in the extensive search for Jenny in the Hamsterley Forest and surrounding areas.

The search for a missing woman has entered its fifth day, police have said. Jenny Hall, 23, was last seen leaving her home at Barracks Farm, Tow Law, County Durham, on Tuesday just after 15:00 GMT. Her red Ford Focus was found parked on the B6278 in remote moorland between Eggleston and Stanhope on Wednesday.

Durham Constabulary said on Saturday that police officers and mountain rescue teams focused their search in Hamsterley Forest and the surrounding areas, where there are a number of running trails. Specialist drones were used.
