Mobile-native and former first round MLB draft pick Bubba Thompson is set to play football at South Alabama. Thompson, a 2017 graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic, was a highly touted high school prospect in both football and baseball.

Bubba Thompson was once a first-round pick of the Texas Rangers, but he's now going back to college to hit the gridiron.
