BJP has fielded former MP Parvesh Verma, son of former Delhi CM Sahib Singh Verma, from the New Delhi seat against Arvind Kejriwal. The ruling Aam Admi Party (AAP) said that the BJP will either make Parvesh Verma or Ramesh Bidhuri its CM candidate.

The Delhi assembly election will witness a “jugalbandi” between the ‘long-time’ alliance of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress, said Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in his latest jibe at the Opposition.

Ahead of Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal accused BJP of vote-buying through gifts and cash. He asserted AAP's growing popularity, predicting a stable government with full majority, while criticizing BJP's lack of strategy and leadership.
