We did walk by before we visited and one can only see a few glimpses, given the wall and all the trees. The writer built the high wall to keep curiosity seekers at bay when he lived there and it still works today. But, well worth the fee to visit the museum.
They use some of the admission funds to care for the cats. They are under a vets care and strict diets. The staff probably has a treat they can share with you. Enjoy!
