It is a nice place to visit and on the way to most places in the centre. Good to use as a reference point as well. The nine streets area near here is fantastic. Full review by Nicholas M

Unless you have a specific reason to stay there choose a hotel based on price/location/breakfast in the rest of the city and you may find better value. Amsterdam is not that big a city so transport is reasonable and efficient. Hope someone can point you to a hotel. thanks

The palace is right on the square. We didn't go in so not sure which door but there were staff around who could assist you.
