It's stunning. Fascinating historical site with beautiful panoramic views. Ticket gets you into a few other nearby associated sites too. Full review by MaChoosy

Sadly, the day I visited the museum was closed and it was a wet morning. However, wandering around the remains was still fun. Full review by MNaija

Fantastic sites to see and for only 12 Dinars which allows you to visit most sites, but please negotiate a taxi for your tour. Full review by Terence K

Not entirely sure, probably like most museums 8am-5pm-ish, though I was there at around 7:30am, and I know they have nighttime shows. One needs to purchase a ticket at one of the sites before going further, which gives access to all the many sites. I had a driver who knew where to go for the ticket and then showed me a great time doing as many site as I could fit into a morning, as I had to fly out at noon. Your hotel will know for sure. And one can do a walking tour of all the sites, and there are random structures scattered around Carthage that one doesn't need the ticket for,

Hello Kay#R# #R# We stayed in Port el Kantoui and normally would research places to visit independently. However we decided to use a local tour operator and it was well worth doing (roads are not brilliant, public transport links a little sporadic (there is a train but the timetable didn't seem to reflect the times the trains actually ran!)). The advantage to sightseeing in this way was that we did get to see several important sights with the added advantage of an expert guide - the trip also took in a visit to Sidi Bou Said which is very picturesque and a brief visit to the capital thrown in. A long day but a great experience without any pressure. Enjoy
