Robert Gordon University is based in Aberdeen, and has consistently had one of the best graduate employment rates and a reputation for high quality teaching (it was rated gold in the national Teaching Excellence Framework in 2017) in Scotland. RGU has implemented work placements on the vast majority of its undergraduate courses, and this is a valuable asset to graduates as they progress into full-time careers. The University also actively forges partnerships with business and industry on an ongoing basis in order to ensure students graduate with the most up to date and desirable skills and knowledge. Many of its courses are the result of a close collaboration with industry.
