Wardsville is a village in Cole County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,599 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Jefferson City, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. A post office called Wardsville was established in 1881, and remained in operation until 1933. The village was named after Junius Ward, the original owner of the town site.
