The snowmobile ride itself takes 1 hour and the travel to and from the mountain along with getting suited up about another hour. We use different locations depending on the snow layers, lately we have been using the mountains on the opposite side of the Fjord from Akureyri with great success. We have managed to go all the way to the top overlooking the whole fjord.
